Tasting Notes BIO Integro Primitivo
The wine has a seductive and fruity aroma of fruit jelly, blackberries, and dark chocolate. On the palate, this Primitivo is also luscious and full-bodied with plenty of fruit and a smooth finish where the chocolate notes reappear. The color is bright ruby red with a hint of purple. Simply very approachable!
Wine & Food Pairing
Bio Integro Primitivo pairs well with stewed meat or veal cheek with a syrupy sauce and onion compote. Ossobuco is also a very good partner, but this wine is also excellent to drink on its own.

The estate is located in Vittoria in southeastern Sicily and has 50 hectares of vineyards, largely on a "Terra Rossa" soil. This special soil consists of a layer of red loam, with a thick layer of limestone beneath it. The thick limestone layer acts like a sponge and stores water, ensuring that the grapevine receives sufficient moisture even in the dry, warm summer.
The Feudo di Santa Tresa winery is known for its commitment to quality and sustainable viticultural practices. After the harvest, the grapes are gently pressed and fermented at controlled temperatures. This process ensures that the delicate aromas and fresh flavors are optimally preserved.
