The wine has great aromatic complexity with initial aromas of citrus, lime and grapefruit. Later, the nose opens up with nectarine and subtle hints of white flowers on a mineral background. A broad, exciting wine, full of texture and character. Refreshing at first, then gaining volume with a delightful invigorating finish.

BIO Codorníu Albariño is the perfect companion for shellfish. Delicious with an oyster with yuzu dressing or cockles with a hint of chili and green herbs. Asian cuisine, such as Japanese and Thai, tempura and grilled vegetables, the Albariño from the Codorníu winery can handle it all.

Additional information

The Codorníu family, world-renowned for their cava, has also been producing still wines in Spain since the 16th century, long before the first bottle of cava was produced. For them, it is a way to showcase the unique terroir of their vineyards and to continue innovating. This Albariño does not even come from Rías Baixas, but from Costers del Segre, their home base on the east coast of Spain.  

In short: a Mediterranean Albariño! Invigorating, refreshing and yet voluminous. Crispy citrus, stone fruit. Wild and Exciting! Organic and Vegan, of course. Honest and delicious! 🌱
