This Chardonnay bears the designation Vin de France, which gives producers the freedom to combine grapes from different French regions. For this wine, Chardonnay from the Val de Loire is predominantly used, where a moderate climate with warm days and cool nights ensures optimal ripening of the grapes.

The grapes are harvested at the optimal ripeness to maintain a perfect balance between fruit and freshness. After picking, the grapes are gently pressed to preserve the pure aromas. Alcoholic fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, ensuring that the fruity and floral characteristics of the Chardonnay are maximally retained. Subsequently, the wine matures for some time on its fine lees (sur lie), which adds extra complexity, creaminess, and texture. During this maturation, bâtonnage (stirring of the yeast) is regularly applied, creating subtle notes of brioche, nuts, and a lightly buttery nuance. Oak usage plays at most a very modest role, so that freshness and fruit remain central.
