He only created a beautiful winery in Castiglione di Sicilia in the 21st century. This is located on the north side of Etna on volcanic soil. \u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eHowever, Francesco's great-grandfather already planted vineyards in 1865, so Tornatore can not only boast over 150 years of experience but also has some old vineyards. After destemming, the grapes are first cooled for a cold maceration of 3 to 4 days at 10–12 °C.
